# Schedule Pause Time

For a Devbox, it can be paused when idle to save costs. When creating a Devbox, you can select a schedule pause time in the confirmation dialog; after this period of time, the Devbox will automatically shut down. If you choose "never," you can also manually shut it down by clicking the pause button in the console.

For the Devbox that has already been created, you can also edit the scheduled pause time in the console.

Editing the schedule pause time will restart the timing from the current moment.

When the Devbox is paused, the previous scheduled pause information will be cleared, and you will need to reset the next pause time.
